So this past weekend after Donovan was done with his predeployment training we went to some outlet malls south of Belton. There was a VW dealership on the way there and we decided to stop on the way back to test drive a GTI and see if they could get us any type of deal. We knew we wanted to trade in my Jetta for something newer as it was nearing it 80,000 service which costs more than $1,000.

After test driving and talking to the super nice salesman we were sold and traded in my 03 Jetta for a 08 GTI, named eva.

We are currently looking to sell the party -box :(

It would be nice to save some money on insurance and pay off some debit while Donovan is gone, but we have only as gone as posting it on craigslist. We will see how things turn out.
