This Christmas I got a great new cookbook : The Bread Bible.
I could survive on bread and butter alone so this cookbook is a God-send.
My first attempt at making homemade bread was Heart of Wheat Bread, which was pretty good if I say so myself.
I am very excited about trying out many other recipes in the book like Cinnamon Raisin Loaf, Authentic Pumpernickel Bread, Beer Bread, Sourdough Bread, and Sticky Caramel Buns. I will be sure to post my new adventures!

This is my second attempt at making and keeping a sourdough starter alive. All it is is flour and water, how hard can this be??
